Odessa Water Trail Launch Event

Time: paddling events throughout the day
Registration opens: 7:30 a.m.
Location: Odessa Water Trail (Shafers Access)

** Join us for a fun day paddling on this beautiful area
** Help launch the first full season of the Odessa Water Trial
** Support water trails in the tri-rivers region (Cedar, Iowa and Mississippi Rivers)

Registration Information

Registration includes donut/bagel/drink for breakfast, drawstring bag or water bottle, guided paddle (as many as you want to attend!) or exploring on your own. All proceeds from the event support water trail development and upkeep.

Adult: $25
Child: $15
Two Adults: $45
Family: $60 (two parents or grandparents plus up to 3 kids under 18)

Guided Paddling Trips

All paddling trips will start at Shafer Access. Ending locations will be determined by water levels. Shuttle service will be provided. Mark your choices when you register.

Beebe Pond 2-3 miles 1 - 1.5 hours 1:00 - 2:30
Main Lake/Goose 4-5 miles 2 - 2.5 hours 12:30 - 3:00
Port Louisa 6-8 miles 3-4 hours 9:00 - 1:00
Goose/South 10-11 miles 5-6 hours 9:00 - 3:00


Canoe/Kayak Rentals

A limited number of canoes will be available for a nominal fee or paddlers may provide their own kayak or canoe. Use the registration forms above to reserve a rental.
